Corrections & complaints

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we want to fix it quickly and on the record. Here is how to tell us, what we commit to, and how we handle corrections transparently.

Report an error or concern

If you believe something we have published about Copenhagen is inaccurate, unfair or out of date, please tell us. The fastest way is to email corrections@dailynetwork.news. You can also use the “Suggest a correction” link at the foot of every article, which opens a prefilled email with the article link.

When you get in touch, it helps us act faster if you include:

Our response-time commitment

We aim to acknowledge every correction request and complaint within two business days. Where a claim is clearly wrong and quick to verify, we will correct it as soon as we have confirmed the facts. More complex complaints, or those that need us to re-check sources, may take longer to resolve, and we will keep you updated on where things stand.

How we correct and disclose

When we make a material factual correction, we add a visible correction note explaining what changed. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not alter meaning.

A correction often means checking the article against the source material and the wider record. Articles display linked sources where available, and our reasonable editorial care page explains how we source, verify and correct reporting.

If you are not satisfied

If you raise a correction or complaint and you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, reply to our response and ask for it to be escalated. The Daily Copenhagen and its publisher are accountable for what appears here at the masthead level, and we will look at your concern again.

Urgent legal notices

Suppression orders, copyright claims, privacy removals and online-safety reports are handled on a separate channel: urgent legal notices. Do not use this corrections pathway for those.
